SARAH ESCOTT - MULTIDISCIPLINARY ARTIST
WORKING IN PAINT, PHOTOGRAPHY & WORDS
For many years I have kept each of these practices separate, never showing them together for fear of perceived dilution. Whilst painting has always been my dominant form of expression, over time these boundaries in my work have fallen away, each discipline informing and strengthening the other.
I have painted for commissions and competitions, made studies and also found my voice through more expressive pieces. I choose between oil paint, acrylic and mixed media depending on what the piece demands.
