Invented in 1933 by Alfonso Bialetti in Italy, the Moka Express revolutionized home coffee brewing, offering a simple, stovetop alternative to café espresso. Inspired by laundry-washing machines, its iconic octagonal, aluminum design was marketed by Renato Bialetti with the famous "little man with a mustache" logo. Over 300 million pots have been sold, becoming a global icon of Italian design.
